Little Things
I’m grateful for the little things,
The seconds of my days,
The times I spent just wandering
So many different ways.

A little girl just growing up
Playing on the farm.
Watching grandpa milk the cows,
The milk so fresh and warm.

I’m grateful for my brother
He was such a little pest,
But now that he is gone,
I realize how I was blessed.

A mom and dad who loved us,
And each other, what a joy,
They kept the home fires burning
For their little girl and boy.

Walking to a one room school
Talking to our friends,
Going out for recess,
Thought those times would never end.

High school days were simpler
We learned to rock and dance
Parties at each other’s house,
Movies for romance.

It’s time now for recalling
Those days of innocence
Returning to the simple life
It makes so much more sense.

To just enjoy the seconds
And leave the days alone,
Being grateful for each moment,
We’ve been blessed to call our own.
That Which Is Not Seen
by Mary Justene Martin
January 26, 2012

So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who
are with us are more than those who are with
them." Then Elisha prayed and said, "Oh Lord,
I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And
the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he
saw; and behold, the mountain was full of
horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
(2Kings 6:16,17)

What you are seeing may look critical,
however we walk by faith, not by sight. We
have heard those words as Christians for
ages. But the crunch comes when we have
the opportunity to put faith into action. God
showed Elisha’s servant how many were with
them. The servant was indeed, looking at...

Hi All, I would also like to
welcome you to join in
our journey. I hope to
bring you along with
pictures of the people,
places and things in our
life. There are so many
things to say, see and do
and we pray that this
little spot on the
computer can give you
peace and pleasure in
the presence of God.
Blessings, Jana

Prison Release by Jana

For years I have known that I've kept a protective wall
around me to prevent others from hurting me. In the
past I had been hurt by the people I thought I could
trust. Actually, they were people I
should have been
able to trust. A few weeks ago I felt that something had
changed, that a crack may have formed in the wall, but
I just couldn't quite put my finger on the change.
Yesterday, as my husband and I were returning from
the city, God gave me a vision of what had happened.

I saw myself in a prison-like cell. The only difference
was that the lock was on the inside not the outside of
the door. I was the only one with the key and I chose
who came in with me. When I met Justene I allowed her
to come and...

Don't Seek Peace In The Middle...
How many of you know we are in a war? No for real,
how many of you know we are in a war? How many of
you know the war is not just about our little battles
although they are a part of the big picture. The war we
are in is not about how much money we have or how
sick we are or what our children are doing with their
lives, although those things are battles within the war.
The war is not against homosexuals or abortionists
although those too are battles within the war. The war
is not whether we will go to Heaven or Hell. The war is
against a system that calls itself Godly and yet lets it’s
people live such unGodly lives that God is very hard
to find in any of our churches let alone our lives. We
are so busy with our little battles that we don’t
