God Is IN You
by Mary Justene Martin
January 4, 2011

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater
is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

We have heard this familiar scripture for many years, but I do not think
we comprehend the depth of it's meaning. This is telling us that God is IN
us. If God is IN us then we are falling short of carrying out His purpose
upon the earth. There is a reason that God has chosen to dwell in
mankind. It is to empower man to do everything that needs to be done to
run the kingdom of God. In other words, He is empowering man to do what
He does to keep His kingdom running. As children of God we are born into
this vast family and are provided with everything He has.

There is so much more to this scripture than we have allowed
ourselves to believe, because religion has forbidden us to even think of
such a grand position in God. However, in these perilous times, the need
will be so great that true sons of God must know who they are, and be
ready to hear the voice of God for the masses who are in fear and
trepidation.

It is time for you to meditate upon these truths. Either you are a child
of God or you are an orphan wandering in darkness. If you do not hear the
voice of God, it is time to enter into all that it entails to be His and not your
own. Unless you have a notion of what to do in these frightening times,
then I would suggest to you that the answers do not lie in government, or
politics, but in the Spirit that dwells within the child of God.
