How can I learn to love like You, How can I see what You see? How can I find the way to your heart To become what You want me to be? Where is the answer written And who will reveal it now? Will You really find a way To cut through this coldness somehow? The things I've heard about You Were so short of the person You are How can I ever Know You When I've been led away so far? There's nothing that won't be uncovered, You've promised that you would reveal The perfect love that beheld You And Your love for me that is real. Break past the thick veil of darkness, Please let your warm light shine in, To make me the new creation, So far from the power of sin. I yield to You, my beloved I ask You to change my heart, Create in me a new passion, Inspire in me a new start. My soul is longing to touch You To know the real truth of it all, I'm finally willing to trust you To answer my fervent call. |
