Don’t you dare just sit there
And believe what others say,
Don’t you dare conform
And just accept it, come what may.

You don’t have to listen
And believe their every word,
There’s a voice within you.
You must savor every word.

There’s no rhyme or reason,
There’s no reason why,
You can’t fulfill your purpose,
You still have time to fly.

Others may have told you
What they have only learned.
Can they know the purpose,
That for years within you burned?

Don‘t you dare just sit there,
And accept the sickness lie,
Or the ancient adage,
That we all came here to die.

Somewhere in your being,
There is purpose, there is life
You are one with it,
As a man is with his wife.

So don’t you dare just sit there,
You must get up and fight.
There are others waiting
You must lead them with your light.
