I got up this morning in the usual way, But you were on my mind. I saw your face in my memory, Like a picture, I needed to find. So I stopped what I was doing, And I asked the Lord to assist, Whatever you’re going through, Then I ended my prayer with this kiss. I asked him to give you a hug And thanked Him for bringing you here, To remind me how much He adores us And for keeping us ever near. Our hearts are funny things, I may never have seen your face, But inside our hearts, we’re together, With Jesus, in His Holy Place. |
