In the stillness lies the answer To the riddles life can bring, In the stillness God will whisper, It is here my heart can sing. Nothing ever can be nourished In the hurry of the day, But in stillness, life can flourish The breath of God takes me away. Finding peace, here in the sunlight, Love will always find a way. Here in stillness, I can listen For the words He wants to say. I would bring you here beside me, If it were for me alone, But this time must be in silence. Where true love can find it’s own. My heart remembers those who trust Him, Prays their healing, release from pain, Till at last they find their stillness, And all hope restored again. |
