Would you refuse the hand of one Who would help you when you fall? Would you remain in darkness, When there’s light just behind the wall? Would you regret not knowing There was more you could have done To help your child move closer To receive the Holy one? There’s so much more to witness, Than the things that we have seen, So why hole up in darkness And refuse what might have been. There’s someone out there waiting One who’ll answer to the call, Will you stand back and mock them, Or be one who does it all? Or would you ride the coat tails Never reaching for your prize, And find yourself stagnating, Right before your very eyes? The road of revelation May seem scary and unsure, But to stay back here in darkness, Means we’ll never find God’s cure. |
